Dear Readers,
I own a few DAL dolls but these type of dolls are usually expensive so I can't afford many of them. Amazon sometimes offers DAL (as well as PULLIP) dolls for quite a good price but I don't like the models that are on sale right now. However there is a way to win a free DAL doll at the moment!
I came upon a blog post from Pullip and Junk mentioning a DAL photo contest! It's called DALICIOUS and is organized by Dolly Market.
The prize is a free DAL doll! More specifically, a DAL Jouet 6th Anniversary and DAL Tina (the winner will have first pick and the runner-up will have the other doll).
There are other smaller prizes and if you want to check them out, they are posted on Dolly Market HERE. The RULES are also posted on Dolly Market and I am a little scared to enter to be honest because I am really not sure I can submit so many pictures.
Here below is DAL JOUET 6TH ANNIVERSARY
And here is DAL TINA

In case you are wondering why I am saying this, here below are the rules as stated on Dolly Market:
--Each photo will be graded on a 1-10 scale.
--You will have 6 days per challenge to take your photo and submit it.
--There will be 1 day of judging between challenges. You can and will be disqualified if your photo is not in by the due date.
--Each challenge the contestant will get an average score from the six judges. The six scores will then be averaged together at the end of the contest for the overall score of that contestant.
--All files should be 1200x1800 or 1800x1200
--All files should be emailed to Dalicious@dollymarket.net with the name of the challenge and the contestants name in the subject.
If you are interested in participating you have until September 15th to do so! Pullip and Junk gives the details of what information is needed to enter the contest.
Are you going to take a chance and try it out? Good Luck to everybody who will participate!!!
I hope you try, Jane Cherie! I know you could take some really cute photos and have a good chance of winning! :-) xo Jennifer
ReplyDeleteBut my photos are not really diorama photos. They are more "informative" photos. I would need to be so creative and that's not my forte.
DeleteJust do it!!! You will be great!!! Just keep the prize in mind!
ReplyDeleteThe prize is tempting for sure :) Thanks for the encouragements Mariana!
DeleteYou must enter! I love your pictures :).
ReplyDeleteAaaw thanks darling. I am really not sure I can do it but I still have 4 days left to decide.
DeleteHello from Spain: your try it. Great prize. Lovely dolls. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Marta!
DeleteOh I think you should enter, Jane. I think that you are very creative and it sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lisa
Thanks Lisa! I think it would be fun indeed!!! That alone would be probably the deciding factor because I don't think I have a chance a the prize LOL
DeleteI wish you would enter. What is there to lose? If you don't try you will never know.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for you and wish you good luck.
Hugs, Drora
Very well said Drora! I should give it a try. I'll see how my schedule would be for the upcoming month!
DeleteI agree with everyone, you most enter. The worse thing that could happen is that you don't win, and that's not too bad, but it would be great if you do win =)
ReplyDeleteGood luck!! Go Jane!!
Hannah
Thanks Hannah. I don't plan on winning Ha! I think if I do participate, I would be to test my photo skills and have fun with my dolls.
DeleteThank you for the information Jane. I think it's fun to try and see others' photos. I won't attend this time. But I think I'll get a Dal one day. Does Dal fit Blythe clothes?? (Sorry I often feel frustrated to dress up my dolls, plus I can't afford doll outfits in different sizes so I use Licca body as a standard considering getting a new doll...)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! Dal dolls are skinnier than Blythe or Licca so they can fit both clothes rather well except it can be sometimes too big. Dal dolls fits somes Bratz clothes and Only Hearts Club clothes too. There is even a Flickr group for Dal doll wearing Licca clothes.
