Petite Blythe Wake Up Kiss

Dear Readers,

I have a new addiction: Petite Blythe Dolls!

I thought I would never be interested in them but then I saw some of the Petite Blythe on Instagram and I fell in love with their cute face and sleepy eyes.

Lucky for me, I didn't have to spend a fortune to buy one.  My dear friend Jennifer from PlushPussyCat blog let me trade one of my doll for her brand new Petite Blythe Wake Up Kiss doll!

This doll has everything I was looking for : straight black hair, vibrant eye color and a sweet face up!  Wake-up Kiss is inspired from the fairy tale of Snow White so she comes with a princess dress and a dwarf outfit too.

Jennifer sent me clothes and accessories as well!  There was also a tiny motorcycle but someone on my house took it right away hahaha!  Thank you Jennifer for this awesome trade! ♥

P.S. I  just realized I didn't take a photo of her opened eyes yet! I will do so as soon as I can move her into her dollhouse!

  4. Wow!! I read in Jennifer's post to know that she jumped into the petite Blythe pool. And now so do you! Awesome! I don't intentionally collect them but I love their cuteness and innocent face. This Wake Up Kiss girl looks so cute. I also like her straight black hair. And how great you received so many outfits with her! Look forward to see more photos of this girl.

    1. Thank you Chloe! My sudden interest in them was so unexpected! And my love for the Petite Blythe only grew more once I was able to hold her in my hands. So little but so cute! I regret not having joined in the pool before because most of them are now quite expensive on the second market!

  5. I love petit Blythes, I only have one, from littlest pet shop. They always gets a bit to expensive for me... Now I want this one too, so cute with the Snow white theme =)
On Swedish ebay they have become quite popular lately, many people realized they fit well in Lundby dollhouses (The most common dollhouse in Sweden) and the only petit Blythes sold here were the ones for Littlest pet shop, and now every one wants them, so I always miss them on auctions.. But I hope to find a few on a flee market one day.. =) (Wish me luck ;) )

    1. I have recently seen a few on sale for a very good price on Ebay and Amazon! (brand new or used). But I am picky with my dolls so I only want some models, not all of them.

I have two LPS Blythe but because they cannot close their eyes, I would rather buy a Petite Blythe than another LPS Blythe. But there are some Petite Blythe who can't close their eyes either (the earlier versions). However, they are very well made and have cute face, hair and outfits!

I didn't buy tons of dolls, just three so far. I will show them on my blog soon :)

  6. LOVE! I love all the Blythes. We only have the LPS variety, of course, but they stopped making those. They only have LPS: TV show Blythe, and she has changed. I do love the big Blythes, but the petites are great, too. I would have to win the lottery or something to begin to justify the cost of buying expensive dolls for myself, but I love to admire everyone else's! :)

    1. I was really sad when they stopped making the LPS Blythe! It was such a letdown! I thought they did so well so why suddenly stop? Sigh. I'll never understand toy companies. They seem to make really silly decisions: drop great products and then introduce a new doll that nobody wants (>_<)

My first Petite Blythe did not cost me that much since it was a trade with a friend. The other ones I bought were less than $30 each so I think it was a reasonable price. There are many more available for a decent price but I had to stop buying more because I have to furnish my dollhouse first hahaha!

    1. Merci! Je ne sais pas encore comment je vais l'appeler. J'ai quelques idées en tête mais j'attends l'arrivée de ses copines pour les nommer toutes en même temps puisqu'elles vont habiter la même maisonnée.

    1. Thank you! I really wanted to get a doll with black hair and I am glad I got this model! Her dwarf outfit is really cute and it's a big bonus because usually the dolls are released with only one outfit!
